Jordyn Chelf Performs with Shoestring Players

Jordyn Chelf of Boiling Springs (29316) will perform with the University of South Carolina Upstate Shoestring Players in "Very Still and Hard to See" in the Humanities and Performing Arts Center. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Feb. 26-28 and 3 p.m. March 1.

Sometimes, bad things do happen for a reason. "Very Still and Hard to See" recounts the history of a cursed hotel and the unfortunate guests who stay there. From an expanding hole in the floor to the possessive ghosts that live there, a series of bizarrely inexplicable events follow.

"Very Still and Hard to See sheds light on a slice of humanity that is not so pretty," said director Patric Phillips '12. "It highlights our darkest desires and challenges our morals. This play will test you in a way, that if you fully surrender as an audience member, will leave you pondering..."

The cast includes: Harley Bevill of Greenville, Chris Smith of Goose Creek, Chauncey Meeks-Owens of Spartanburg, Jordyn Chelf of Boiling Springs, Jasmine Johnson of Hartsville, Zoe Sneed of Greenville, Howie DeWitt of Greenville and Anthony Gregory of Boiling Springs.

Ticket prices are $8 for general public and $4 for USC Upstate students, faculty, and staff.
